Have your say – staff survey to open soon

Flinders University will launch its 2018 Your Voice survey in June, with all academic, professional and casual staff invited to participate.

The purpose of the survey is to provide an avenue for staff to voice their experiences and opinions of the University so that it can recognise and build on its strengths, and address areas for development. The results can also be benchmarked across the sector and with previous Flinders Your Voice surveys.

Goals of the survey:

  • To obtain feedback on the views of management and staff across the University in areas such as leadership, teamwork, communication, cooperation, job satisfaction and efficiency.
  • To establish a “benchmark” to compare how the University is tracking over time.

The survey is confidential, with results reported at the level of the University and/or College portfolio. Individual responses will not be reported.  All answers will be sent directly to the independent organisation Voice Project, who is conducting the survey on Flinders’ behalf.

Once all responses have been analysed by Voice Project, the results will be presented back to the University.

Staff will be sent the link to the survey when it opens, and are invited to complete the survey during regular working hours. It will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.

The survey will remain open for two weeks.

Any questions may be directed to Naomi Madsen, Manager, Professional Development Unit.
