On Friday 13 July, Emergency Management will be undertaking a large scale, practical training exercise from 9am – 1pm. The training will focus on an emergency incident scenario involving the Physical Sciences building and store at Bedford Park.

The Metropolitan Fire Service (MFS) and Flinders University staff will be on-site for this training – staff need not be alarmed by the activity in this area during this time.

Car park 9 will be a central staging area for the exercise and will be partially closed during this time to allow room to accommodate the MFS appliances.

There will be minimal impact to people while this training occurs. If staff see any activity on Friday 13 July outside the scope of this training activity or have any concerns, please contact Flinders University Security on 8201 2880.
