A better path from evidence to practice

Flinders University is hosting a Knowledge Translation Workshop from August 20 to 22, designed to help anyone within the health system apply new scientific evidence in less complex and more timely ways.

Called “Implementing Evidence into Practice”, the three-day, highly interactive course covers essential skills and knowledge needed to facilitate the implementation of evidence and innovation into everyday clinical practice.

Led by an internationally renowned team of knowledge translation researchers, facilitators and practising clinicians from Queensland and SA, the workshop will outline helpful ways to introduce new guidelines or pieces of evidence into everyday practice, and provide advice that leads to more effective measurement of a project’s success.

The course, to be conducted at the Tonsley Park campus, provides ideal information for health professionals, health service managers, academics and PhD students with an interest in Health Services Research and Implementation Science.

Registrations for the course, which costs $1800 ($995 for students), can be made online.
