New parking systems up and running

The new parking permitting system at Bedford Park campus is live and staff are reminded that Semester 1 permits will expire on Sunday 29 July.

New permits will be required from Monday 30 July, with two options available to access parking at staff rates:

  • a vPermit, OR
  • casual parking via CellOPark

Please note, staff with a vPermit do not need to purchase casual parking as well, unless wishing to park in car parks 6 or 13 (which comprise two hour maximum parks only).

Whether a vPermit is held or CellOPark is used, staff are asked to please ensure the licence plate of the car on campus matches the active/ live car in the parking system at all times.

For detailed information, FAQs and easy to follow, step-by-step videos about vPermits, CellOPark and visitor parking machines, visit flinders.edu.au/parking.

Important tips for purchasing a vPermit

  • tip 1 – when creating a password to register, please include a non-alphanumeric character (eg $#@*!) as well as a digit and an upper case character.
  • tip 2 – if paying by credit card, please allow time for the payment to process – don’t navigate away from the site and don’t press refresh.

Anyone requiring assistance in using the new system is welcome to email the parking office at: parking@flinders.edu.au
