The national MedTech’s Got Talent Bootcamp is coming to Adelaide in a free one-day entrepreneurial workshop that is open to anyone interested in the medical technology sector.

Flinders Medical Device Partnering Program is partnering with The Actuator to present the event, which will provide an overview and insights into the commercialisation pathway for medical technologies.

Workshop inclusions:

• A Q&A session where experts will share their views and experiences in commercialising medical technologies
• An intellectual property session covering themes such as defensive IP strategy, IP landscaping, filing a patent, patent rights, and infringement avoidance
• A market positioning session with information about the market, competition, customer development, business model and business plan
• A finance session that focuses on capital raising strategies and cash flow projections
• An ‘Art of the pitch’ session with tips on how to pitch, challenges of pitching, and dealing with rejections

The workshop will end at 4.30pm with networking continuing until 6pm. Anyone in the sector who cannot attend the workshop is welcome to join for the networking session only – simply select networking event ticket only when registering.
