Update: This traffic switch has now been cancelled for the weekend 31 August to 3 September due to inclement weather forecast.
The first stage of a major traffic switch on South Road was planned to occur this Friday 31 August from 8pm, with work commencing on the lowered motorway and Tonsley Boulevard bridge. This work is now being re-scheduled.
