History and literature seminars provide creative fuel for thought at two free public lectures at Flinders this week.
Languages, Literature and Culture Research Seminar
This week’s Flinders Languages, Literature and Culture Research Seminar Series will feature a talk by Dr Eric Parisot on ‘No Laughing matter? George Colman’s The Suicide, A comedy (1977)’. Open to the public, staff are invited to bring their lunch along and enjoy the discussion. These seminars explore timely topics and invite discussion around new research discoveries.

History Seminar
The next seminar will feature Dr Prudence Flowers, presenting on ‘Targeting planned parenthood: Pro-lifers, the permissive society and neo-liberalism in the 1980s.’ These seminars are open to the public and include a 45-minute talk, plus time for questions.
