Free training to build research skills

The Central Library at Flinders is pleased to offer free research methodology online training and a 50% discount on CARMA (Consortium for the Advancement of Research Methods and Analysis) workshops to be held in Adelaide between 12 and 15 November 2018.

The workshops, offered over two 2.5 days, are ‘Qualitative Analysis of Organisational Change’ and ‘Advanced Regression Analysis: Alternatives to Difference Scores, Polynomial and Response Surface Methods’.

The university-wide access to quantitative and qualitative online research methodology training is delivered via the CARMA International Video Library Program (IVLP).

More than 130 recorded, high-quality lectures are available online, free for Flinders University staff and students, that address various aspects of research.

A non-profit unit at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, CARMA is an interdisciplinary consortium devoted to helping faculty, graduate students and professionals learn of current developments in various areas of research methods and statistics.

Register at the IVLP weblink above, or contact Pawel Skuza for more information on the courses and workshops.
