Bupa is offering free skin checks to staff in the first two weeks of December at Flinders Medical Centre, Bedford Park, Sturt and Tonsley campuses.

In addition to regular self-checks, a professional skin examination can help people get to know their skin and detect early changes. Skin cancer found early can usually be successfully treated.

The ten minute checks include examination by a qualified skin cancer health practitioner who will talk through any findings and provide results at the consultation.

Appointments are available from 9.30am to 4.30pm, from 4 December through to 14 December, and must be booked online.
