Information sessions on staff superannuation and novated vehicle leasing will be held at Bedford Park campus this month.

Super fundamentals

Superannuation is a substantial investment that impacts enormously on lifestyle upon retirement. An information session has been scheduled to help staff understand the basics of Australia’s superannuation system and UniSuper products.

The presentation will cover:

• key purpose of super
• ‘defined benefit’ versus ‘accumulation style’ super
• types of contributions and limits
• how super can be invested
• insurance and beneficiaries
