Renewal works to the Bedford Park campus footbridge commence next week (from 4 March 2019), with access changes through the gully affecting pedestrian commutes between Sturt and North Ridge.

Temporary barriers will be installed this week at various points along the gully tracks to identify the construction site around the footbridge. Alternative access is provided along University Drive and additional loop bus services will shuttle around campus during the project.

The vehicle speed limit on University Drive will also be reduced for extended periods, as there will be numerous heavy vehicles entering and exiting the site at the bottom of the gully.

Staff are advised to please observe site safety signage and use alternative routes.

The project is expected to be completed by Semester Two, 2019.
