Revitalise with new in-house program

Flinders’ REVITALISED Wellness Program helps staff and students achieve an improved quality of life through exercise, diet, social connections and a large dose of education and encouragement. Staff are encouraged to get in quick for Semester 1, with applications closing 1 March.

The new wellness program is overseen by qualified exercise scientists and has two primary aims:

  • To provide evidence-based, supervised exercise programs to current Flinders University staff and students to promote optimal work/study productivity, mood and quality of life, and improve general health and fitness.
  • To provide meaningful experiential learning opportunities for Flinders’ exercise science students.

Participants in the program should be insufficiently active in terms of the current good health guidelines, and not require a rehabilitation program for a specific injury or condition (such as Type 2 diabetes, stroke or chronic low back pain.)

The Semester 1 program commences in the week beginning 12 March 2019, with participants choosing two sessions per week on either Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays.

The cost of the program is $240 for staff, which may be paid by weekly direct debit, and includes a free three-month Flinders University Sport and Fitness membership at the conclusion of the program.

Interested applicants need to register their interest on the program website.
