The Tonsley Innovation District will open its heart and soul to the public in its inaugural open day, proudly sponsored by Flinders University, which is preparing to enthral adults and children of all ages on 24 March 2019.

In partnership with Science Alive!, the family-friendly event will give the broader community the opportunity to see, hear and touch the innovations and technologies being developed or used at Tonsley – all free of charge.

Visitors can meet meet Baxter the resident robot in Flinders’ Tonsley Manufacturing Innovation Hub, take a ride in a Tesla or the FLEX autonomous bus, try a tasty HydroDog cooked on a hydrogen-powered BBQ, transport to another world through virtual reality gaming or master the skies with drones.
