Thank you for big support

Flinders extends a huge thank you to all employees who hosted, provided food, or donated to Australia’s Biggest Morning Teas held across Flinders University to support the Cancer Council.

A total of $2696 was raised in a successful initiative that saw staff and students come together and take time out to socialise for a great cause.

Morning tea participants:

  • Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer (FCIC)
  • College of Science and Engineering
  • Information and Digital Services
  • Rural health SA (Barossa, Victor Harbor, Mt Gambier, Renmark)
  • Flinders Sport and Fitness
  • New Venture Institute (Tonsley)
  • Central Library
  • People and Culture

The highest achieving group was the New Venture Institute, raising a whopping $890.

Donations are still open if anyone would like to add to the University’s tally in support of cancer research, prevention and services. (Cash donations have not yet been added online.)
