Café Alere at Flinders’ Bedford Park campus has taken out Café of the Year for the second year running at the 2019 SA Savour Australia Restaurant & Catering Hostplus Awards for Excellence.

The Awards for Excellence is a nationally recognised, independently judged awards program that celebrates exceptional service and culinary talent across the state.

It is the only program in Australia where the judging criteria is determined by consumers who rank what is important to them in the dining experience.

Café Alere took out awards for Best Café Metro + South, and Café of the Year at the awards event last night, 15 July 2019.

The Flinders University dining icon will compete with other finalists at the national awards in October.
