The New Venture Institute and partners have received seed funding from the South Australian government’s Department of Primary Industries and Regions to establish the nation’s first wine and tourism technology accelerator.

Called Foment, the NVI has partnered with Hydra Consulting and Wine Industry Suppliers Australia to deliver the initiative. The collaboration is currently inviting expressions of interest from businesses and people who would like to participate in the accelerator, sponsor the program or become a mentor.

With 50% of all Australian wine made from South Australian grapes and 80% of premium wine brands established in this state, the NVI is keen to expand the capacity and opportunities of this prominent local industry sector.
