Flinders Village leads SA PR awards

The launch of the Flinders Village masterplan is in contention for a national public relations award after becoming an SA State winner in the Integrated Marketing and Communication category of this year’s Public Relations Institute of Australia ‘Golden Target Awards’.

Including a VIP launch event in June attended by Premier Steven Marshall and other officials, the multimedia promotion of the Village announcement resulted in extensive media coverage and community engagement.

The communications program, with technical support from Algo Mas and Convergen, was a collaborative effort between the Office of Communication, Marketing and Engagement (OCME) and Properties, Facilities and Development. OCME Executive Director Callista Thillou thanked and congratulated the many staff across communication, events, marketing, web, project management and allied teams for their award-worthy efforts.

The PRIA National Golden Target Awards Presentation will be held at Southbank, Melbourne on 13 November.
