Secrets to Chicago social success

The Don Dunstan Foundation is hosting Dr Nonie Brennan, an expert on homelessness prevention, fundraising and collective societal impact, through its Thinkers in Residence program in November.

Dr Brennan is the former CEO of All Chicago, which strives to prevent homelessness through financial assistance, community partnerships, data collection, analysis, training and research.

Dr Brennan was responsible for more than US$70 million of funding for Chicago’s homelessness system every year over her 15-year leadership, which resulted in an overall 25% reduction in homelessness in Chicago.

Her achievements have seen her appointed Senior Advisor to the Institute of Global Homelessness.

Flinders University is a primary partner of the Don Dunstan Foundation and all events associated with the November residency will be hosted at its Victoria Square campus.

Events may be booked via the Don Dunstan Foundation website.

Flinders’ staff are invited to use the code FLDSTAFF for a 10% discount.
