Cultural intelligence seminar

Staff who have ever left an interaction unsure as to why it went wrong will benefit from this insightful professional development opportunity in cultural intelligence.

Reflecting on the inspiring stories from Flinders’ international student community through ‘In the Frame – Voice of International Students’, this session will provide a series of fun and practical case studies in cultural awareness, cultural adaptability and intercultural bridging.

Join Cross-Cultural expert Mr Robert Bean from Robert Bean Intercultural and an expert panel for an insightful Q & A session using real Flinders University examples together with hypotheticals on cultural intelligence and its importance in a diverse multicultural environment.

This session will feature a panel of Flinders professional and academic staff whose daily work involves student interactions. They will share their experiences, tips and strategies that can assist in the prevention of cultural misunderstandings and maximise the opportunities that Flinders’ culturally diverse community has to offer.
