More offered for Flinders Orientation 2020

Flinders O’Week starts on Monday 24 February – and this year will see a greater number of events and activities across campus. For the first time, an extended four-week Orientation Program is being provided for new students, to help them settle more easily into study life at Flinders.

Beyond the usual O’Week activities, the extended Orientation Program will provide students with  information through four themed weeks – Connect Week (2 March to 6 March), Skills Week (9 March to 13 March), Cultural Week (16 March to 20 March) and Wellbeing Week (23 March to 27 March).

Students can take part in a range of online and on-campus events and activities at Bedford Park. These events are designed to highlight various student support services available, and students will be encouraged to engage with these services through the Orientation events, to help them succeed at university.

From the start of O’Week on 24 February to the end of week four, students will also be able to visit the Welcome Hub at Level 0 of the Student Hub at Bedford Park between 10am and 2pm on weekdays. This is where they can meet staff and students, ask questions and learn more about student support services.

This year, a digital orientation program called Finding Your Way at Flinders will also be available to all commencing students through Flinders Learning Online (FLO).
