O’Week energises campus

A new online orientation program, free gym, picnics in the Plaza, and a variety of opportunities to connect with peers and staff are just a small taste of what’s on offer for Flinders University’s newest students this week.

With O’Week well underway, main campus is alive with energy as new students delve into a range of college sessions, social events and University activities.

The momentum will continue into March, as students have the opportunity to get involved with Connect Week, as part of this year’s five-week extended orientation program.

Staff based at Bedford Park might notice the Welcome Hub (level 0 of the Student Hub) transform into a lounge area as part of a new Meet and Greet space, where students can meet up with their peers or make new friends in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Students studying online or at other campuses can check out tips for making connections and getting involved in University life on the Orientation website. They’ll also be encouraged to introduce themselves to other students through the new online orientation program called Finding Your Way at Flinders.

All new students have been invited to participate in Finding Your Way at Flinders (a topic in FLO) which is designed to help them prepare for study and university life. The topic is also avilable to staff if interested in seeing what its all about. Read more about Finding Your Way at Flinders and how to access the topic here.
