Call for anecdotes about Prof Chubb

As part of celebrations for Australian National University’s 75th anniversary in August 2021, a series of profiles about the university’s former Vice-Chancellors is currently being researched – and the author is keen to talk to current or former Flinders University staff who worked with Professor Ian Chubb during his term as Vice-Chancellor of Flinders University, from 1995 to 2000.

Professor Chubb was Vice-Chancellor of Australian National University from 2001 to 2011.

The author of the profiles is Dr Daniel Oakman, from the School of History at Australian National University, and he is especially interested to hear from people prepared to talk about Professor Chubb’s leadership style and his impact on the direction of Flinders University.

All information supplied will be treated in the strictest confidence, and the finished profiles are intended for publication on-line and in print.

If you have information to share, please contact Dr Daniel Oakman via email: daniel.oakman@anu.edu.au or phone 0408 534 842.
