Safework awards open

The annual Augusta Zadow Awards fund practical solutions or research that improve safety for women or young workers in South Australia, with a pool of $20,000 available to further projects.

Successful projects will address a work health and safety issue faced by women or young people at work, and/or significantly improve health and safety for women or young people at work through research or further education.

Award proposals must be no longer than 1500 words and provide details about the project, including who it will benefit and how, where it will be undertaken, key milestones, costs and referees.

Flinders University previous winners include Dr Sara Howard, who was awarded $15,000 to progress her initiative on the use of ‘collaborative robots’ in apply emerging technology safely and effectively in work environments.
