Staff are invited to provide feedback on the review of Flinders University’s new Assessment Policy.

The current Assessment Policy has been reviewed as part of the Policy Redesign Project with a focus on student success. Student Evaluation of Teaching (SET) survey data has indicated that there is room for improvement in relation to teaching quality and assessment. Additionally, in 2019 just over 45% of all internal student complaints related to assessments.

The draft new Assessment Policy and supporting procedures and documents are intended to work together as a framework that supports student success, fostering and certifying students’ learning and providing opportunities for students to reflect on and monitor their learning progress.

Feedback is now sought from staff on the draft Assessment Policy and supporting procedures.
