Multicultural Awards open

Nominations for the 2020 Governor’s Multicultural Awards are open. These awards recognise outstanding South Australians who promote multiculturalism and increase the understanding of the benefits of cultural diversity.

South Australians can nominate an individual, team or organisation passionate about making a positive contribution to multiculturalism and intercultural understanding.

The University has many advocates for multicultural diversity and has championed a number of excellent initiatives – including the ‘In the Frame’ photographic exhibition, which was a finalist in these awards last year.

Administered by the Department of the Premier and Cabinet through Multicultural Affairs, the awards are presented by His Excellency, the Honourable Hieu Van Le AC, Governor of South Australia, on the advice of an independent judging panel.

Nominations are open until 5pm, Friday 9 October. Winners will be announced in early 2021.
