Research education discounts

Live Online Short Courses that focus on specific areas of research theory and analysis are being offered to Flinders researchers at discounted rates.

The Flinders Library sponsors university-wide access to quantitative and qualitative online research methodology training delivered by the Center for the Advancement of Research Methods and Analysis (CARMA). This agreement allows Flinders researchers to take advantage of 50% discount on a pair of live online courses, priced at US$325 for students and US$425 for staff. Both courses, which are less than 20 hours in duration, are run over four days, between 9am and 2pm Adelaide time.

Session 1, “Doing Grounded Theory Research”, is being held from November 9-13.

Session 2, “Mixed Methods and Qualitative Comparative Analysis”, is being held from November 16-20.

These courses are in addition to 180 high-quality hour-long recorded lectures that are available free of charge for Flinders staff and students that address various aspects of undertaking research. Information on how to register online can be found here.
