Serving up explanations on diet trends

To help paint a clearer picture of how the media addresses popular food trends, the Flinders University Health and Wellbeing program is presenting a seminar on Thursday 25 February titled Media’s Menu: Explaining Diet Trends and Sustainable Eating.

Enthusiastic response to this event has seen it moved to the larger location of Humanities Building, North Lecture Theatre 1, from noon to 1pm.

Presented by a student and staff of Nutrition and Dietetics from the College of Nursing and Health Sciences, the seminar will feature a series of tastings provided as the speakers explain popular diet trends highlighted in the media, including the Keto diet, intermittent fasting, gluten-free diets and efforts to reduce environmental impact through sustainable diets.

Tickets to attend this free seminar are available online. Live stream access for online viewers is also available; please request a link when enrolling for the seminar.
