The Tav turns up the music – loud and live

Like it loud and live? Join us in welcoming live music back to Bedford Park campus when Flinders Live presents Wing Defence and LOLA at The Tav from 5pm on Thursday, 29 April.

Flinders Live is pleased to present bubblegum punk outfit Wing Defence as the gig’s headliner, fresh from winning Best Punk Band, Best Release & Best Group at the 2020 SA Music Awards. Wing Defence is a home-grown band blending punk, pop and indie to create a nostalgic ’90s sound. Their quirky band name is sentimental about the netball sporting position, making the band memorable as its musical style has moved from a duo to a full band line up over the past year. Wing Defence has quickly become one of Adelaide’s most exciting new exports, performing at the likes of Groovin’ The Moo and St Jerome’s Laneway Festival winning some prestigious local industry awards along the way.

Supporting Wing Defence is LOLA who is very quickly marking their mark on the punk rock scene with their manic stage presence and super sharp sounds. After each individually playing in established bands around Adelaide for years, these four charismatic Aussie mates have joined together their love of good times and cold beer to create a sound that is almost familiar, yet entirely new.

General admin tickets for $15 are available online. BankSA cardholders get tickets for half price – for $7.50. Just show your BankSA card at the door to qualify.

Head to the Tav on April 29th, grab yourself a drink and get ready to rock out to Wing Defence and LOLA.
