BRAVE explanation of COVID-19 vaccinations

In response to recent critical developments of the COVID-19 situation in Australia, Flinders University has organised a follow-up BRAVE lecture on Wednesday 21 July about the nation’s vaccination program, called For the Greater Good – Part 2.

Earlier this year, Professor Jonathan Craig, along with Associate Professor Jill Carr and Professor Paul Ward, presented the online BRAVE public lecture For the greater good: Controlling COVID-19 through vaccination (click here for recording).

As a special and timely BRAVE event, a second online seminar is planned to discuss this subject further – with Professor Craig welcomed back as part of an expert panel to discuss how Australia is progressing with the COVID-19 vaccine program.  Professor Carr and Professor Billie Bonevski will round out the panel.

Special guest from the University of Sydney, Professor Julie Leask, will join to discuss her research into the social and behavioural aspects of immunisation.

The panel will also examine the challenges and opportunities as Australia continues to respond to the ever-changing COVID-19 pandemic.

If you have any questions for the panel, please email them to cmph.marcomms@flinders.edu.au. Please note: the purpose of this event is to quantify the benefits and harm; panel members cannot provide individual advice

The event will be online only from 5pm. Register here: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/brave-for-the-greater-good-part-2-livestream-registration-163595950893
