A draft of new Authorship of Research Output Procedures is now available for comment via the Flinders Policy Library. The new procedures will replace the University’s Authorship Policy, aligning the University’s practices with the Authorship guide supporting the implementation of the 2018 Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research.

The new procedures outline researchers responsibilities and accountabilities for formalising authorship agreements, attributing authorship, acknowledging contributions, being accountable for and approving research outputs. The procedures also include mandatory by-line requirements for author affiliation.
