Celebrated group Various People Inc will perform its acclaimed production Lifelines for the next free Music at Flinders concert on Wednesday 8 September.

The Lifelines show is an exquisite weave of voices and imagery, celebrating the courage of Sir Douglas Mawson and the members of his 1911-1914 Antarctic expedition, and of all those who strive in the face of challenge.

The performance features music by Richard Chew, Jodie O’Regan and Anne Cawrse interwoven with fragments of memories and experiences, the sounds of wind and ice, and a stunning Antarctic videoscape.
