Snake awareness course ahead of summer

With the sunny days of summer fast approaching, Flinders’ Professional Development Unit is promoting the importance of snake awareness on campus by presenting an online course.

While most wildlife activity on campus involves friendly encounters with koalas, lizards and kookaburras, snakes are occasionally sighted.

The online snake awareness course takes around 20 minutes to complete and includes information on:

  • Which snakes are likely to be found on campus
  • What to do if you see a snake
  • What to do if you are bitten by a snake

To enrol for the course, please register via the Flinders University staff development webpage.
