Find your balance at Flinders Sport & Fitness

Move your body and calm your mind as we approach the festive season, with free yoga sessions at Flinders University Sport & Fitness.

With the busy end-of-year schedule fast approaching, learn to improve your sleep and your ability to focus in the five-part yoga series, which began on Tuesday 5 October.

The sessions will run weekly from 4pm-5pm on Tuesdays in the FUSF group fitness room, and will cover a range of techniques for different goals and purposes.

Please email Jacqueline Beal to book a place for any of the following sessions.

  • Tuesday 12 October – Fire Glow Yoga, with Emma. Featuring 30-min Vinyasa-style yoga, which is movement-based, then 30-min yin yoga with slow, long holds and relaxing in a beautiful candle-lit room.
  • Tuesday 19 October – Yoga for improved sleep and digestion, with Rachel. Particular poses and sequencing with a specific focus.
  • Tuesday 26 October – Yin yoga. Slow-paced with longer holds to increase blood flow to joints, and flexibility.
  • Tuesday 2 November – Restorative yoga, with Rachel. Yoga session with minimal stimulation where your nervous system can unwind.
