Media tips provided for researchers

Ever wondered how to generate and measure the public impact on your research? Want to know how to be an effective communicator across mainstream media channels? The Media Training for Researchers session, run by Media and Communications and Research Development and Support, may help provide you with the answers you need to help your media performance.

In this session, Karen Ashford, Director of Media and Communications, will cover the basics of identifying what’s newsworthy and why it’s of interest to the media, effective media releases, fundamental presentation and interview skills.
