With the impact of the pandemic continuing to be felt around the world, ATA Scientific Instruments wants to hear from research students about how COVID-19 has changed the way they research and work.
Students are invited to create a video that showcases a typical day in the life of a research student, using one of these options:
• Create a TikTok style video, showcasing what you typically do in a day or week in the lab.
or
• Present a 60-second thesis-style talk to describe your research project.
So, if you are a research student or know a student who’s a whizz behind the camera, this is a great opportunity to test out your acting chops for the chance to win a $500 prize.
The top six entries, judged on originality and overall humour, will each earn a cash prize, plus have their videos featured on ATA Scientific Instruments website and shared through its social media.
