Nursing researcher joins International Hall of Fame

Professor Jeroen Hendriks

The Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing has inducted Professor Jeroen Hendriks from the College of Nursing and Health Sciences into the International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame. Professor Hendriks is one of 32 individuals to have been presented with the award this year, and they join 238 previously inducted nurse researchers, all who have achieved significant and sustained national or international recognition and whose research has improved the profession of nursing and the people it serves.

“These inspiring, world-renowned nurse researchers represent the staggering, collective impact of nursing and nursing research on global healthcare,” said Sigma President Kenneth Dion, announcing this year’s recipients. “I congratulate them on their induction into the International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame, and I look forward to discovering more about their research journeys and experiences.”
