Perform a role in the 2022 federal election

If you’re looking for some extra work, the Australian Electoral Commission has roles available for people across Australia to help facilitate the federal election, being held on Saturday 21 May.

If you want to be involved, no election experience is required and training is provided.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and people from a culturally and linguistically diverse background, are encouraged to apply.

Working at federal elections provides you with a great opportunity to contribute to your community, work as part of a diverse team – and, of course, earn some extra money.

Information on roles available for the election work team, along with pay rates and conditions, can be found at aec.gov.au/electionjobs

COVID-19 safety measures will be in place to help protect you at election workplaces.

Register now at aec.gov.au/electionjobs to be considered for work duties on the 2022 federal election.
