Reformer pilates classes are now officially being offered at Flinders University Sport & Fitness (FUSF). It’s one of several new additions to FUSF offerings – which also includes the introduction of the Rejuvenate Lounge, with an infrared sauna, meditation chair, massage chair and NormaTec compression boots.
After a couple of sneaky trial sessions of reformer pilates, classes were officially launched on Monday 8 August, and the gym is offering a special launch price for a limited period. Until Friday 16 September, the weekly cost of FUSF membership for all services, including regular classes and equipment, reformer classes and the Rejuvenate Lounge, are $24.99 for staff, $19.99 for students and $25.99 for other guests.
The special rate offers full access to everything at FUSF, which includes:
- Reformer Pilates
- Rejuvenate Lounge, including infrared sauna, massage chair, O2 meditation chair and NormaTec boots
- Group fitness classes
- Ladies-only gym
- Weights
- Cardio
- HIIT
- Squash

Taicea Agnew and Shane Jennings in Rejuvenate, pictured in the new FUSF wellness space, will be familiar to many from their roles on campus as Director Services PFD, and Director Colleges EPSW, but they are also on the FUSF board. In June, the board enthusiastically approved investing in FUSF upgrades, which included the Rejuvenate wellness lounge and the introduction of Pilates reformer classes.
Please note that you can still purchase a FUSF gym membership without the new additional options at the original pricing. Both FUSF membership options are available through salary sacrifice.
