Flinders University is a finalist in the Australian Defence Industry Awards for 2022, having been shortlisted for Academic Institution of the Year.

As a finalist, Flinders has been recognised amongst the top defence industry professionals and businesses around Australia – for which the winners will be announced at a gala presentation event at the National Convention Centre in Canberra on Thursday, 15 September.

These national awards are designed to showcase the depth of talent in the nation’s defence industry, while affirming the sector’s essential role in supporting the expansion of Australia as it embarks on a period of rapid transformation through embracing defence technology and capability building.
