Talk to King Kyle about mental health

In preparation for mental health month in October, Bupa is providing the opportunity to connect with Olympic and Commonwealth Games swimming gold medallist Kyle Chalmers, as he opens up about his mental health journey.

The virtual event – titled Let’s Start The Conversation About Mental Health – will be happening at noon (AEST) on 13 September, and you can register now by clicking here.

Chalmers has worked through a number of injuries to make it to the games, faced overwhelming media pressures, and has faced mental battles and sacrifices confronting all athletes who aim to win gold at international events.

As part of this live Q & A online event, Chalmers will be asked about his journey and the impact that others have had on his health and wellbeing. He’ll also share his thoughts on what we can do differently to create a mentally healthy culture for all.

This event is part of Bupa’s Love Your Health and Wellbeing speaker series, which is designed to help build a culture of trust and encourage important conversations among work colleagues.  The series will connect with leading health and wellbeing advocates across the country, who will provide unique views on this important issue, share tools, insights, and strategies to support improve your team’s mental health and wellbeing.
