The Academy appoints a Director & Principal

After an extensive search, Flinders University Academy is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Foley as its inaugural Director and Principal.

After completing a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Adelaide, Mr Foley went on to receive a Master of Arts (Applied Linguistics) from the University of Adelaide, and an MBA from Kaplan Business School.

Mr Foley has been involved in international education for more than two decades, having both teaching and leadership roles in the UK, Spain, Australia and Cambodia. He joins Flinders University Academy from La Trobe College, La Trobe University’s pathway provider, managed by Navitas, where he is currently College Director and Principal.

Previously, he was with University of Adelaide College as College Director and Deputy Director (Foundation Studies). He has also been Centre Manager at SA College of English, and has held Director of Studies roles in Australia and Spain.

Mr Foley is the convenor of the Pathways Network forming part of the International Education Association of Australia (IEAA).

Mr Sebastian Raneskold, Vice-President and Pro Vice-Chancellor (International), is pleased to welcome Andrew to Flinders University Academy, and looks forward to seeing him bring the Academy to life.

Mr Foley will begin with Flinders University Academy on 24 October.
