Scheduled change to the casual academic schedule and payment process that was due to begin on Thursday 8 September will now occur later in September. After extensive engagement with key stakeholders, additional business requirements were captured and are being actioned by People & Culture and the project team.

This delay does not reflect the quality of the new system, which is fit for purpose and will improve Flinders’ end-to-end schedule to payment process for casual academic employees.

The change will introduce a new and improved system known as Casual Academic Scheduling and Timesheets. It will replace FlindersPro and cover the entire schedule-to-payment process for casual academic employees.

More information will be sent in coming weeks to all involved roles, including casual academic employees, as we prepare for this transition.
