Free skin checks on campus

Free professional skin checks will be available for all Flinders staff from Tuesday 11 October to Wednesday 26 October, thanks to a special offer from Flinders University and Bupa.

A professional skin examination can help you get to know your skin and detect changes at the early stages, in a far more thorough way than advised regular self-checks. Skin cancer, if it is detected early, can usually be treated successfully.

For the 10-minute skin check being offered to Flinders staff, an experienced Dermatoscopist will take you through your findings and provide an individually tailored results card. The Dermatoscopist will also educate you on what preventative measures to take, plus how to identify and differentiate between a mole and the possible signs and symptoms of other skin cancers.

Book your appointment for a free examination of skin on your face, neck, hands, forearms, elbows and any other areas of concern. For more information and to register a booking, click here.
