Podcasts highlight 30 years of Law at Flinders

A new podcast series that reflects on 30 years of Law at Flinders University has been released this week.

Expect More of Law: The Podcast, hosted by Dean of Law Professor Tania Leiman, celebrates 30 years of Law at Flinders University with stories from current students, alumni, and industry, with a new episode dropping every week.

Season 1 of the podcast will roll out over the next eight weeks, as a lead up to Flinders University’s Law Gala Dinner on December 3.

In the podcasts, Professor Leiman interviews inspirational current students and graduates who share their experiences about where their law studies have taken them.

In Episode 1, Professor Leiman chats with Phaedra Deckart, who was one of Flinders’ initial law students. Since graduating 30 years ago, she has forged ahead in her career, saying yes to every opportunity.

After working as a commercial litigator and in-house lawyer, Ms Deckart moved through senior executive roles and is now CEO for Tas Gas, a leading gas network operator for Tasmania and Regional Victoria.
