The Flinders University RAP Conference 2023 is happening in April, and the Office of Indigenous Strategy & Engagement invites all staff and students to take part in this important three-day event so that everyone can network, engage and learn about Indigenous culture.
From 18-20 April, the conference will host a range of events that focus on topics that include Indigenous Leadership and Reconciliation in the workplace. Guests will also gain insight into the current Indigenous strategies being developed and implemented across Flinders University.
The Flinders University Indigenous Business Showcase will be held on day two of the conference, featuring leading Indigenous businesses from South Australia and Northern Territory. The Showcase will provide staff and students an opportunity to learn about procurement services on offer in these various businesses and industries.
The conference will provide interactive cultural tours and such activities as weaving workshops. An Introduction to Aboriginal Art will also be available, offering participants a first-hand look at the rich and diverse cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples while providing valuable insight into traditional artistic practices.
