Flinders people are saving lives

Thank you to the Flinders staff and students who took part in the Red Cross Tertiary Blood Donation Challenge, whose contributions will help save more than 1400 lives – and made Flinders the top donor university in South Australia, and 11th in Australia.

Between 1 March and 31 May, a total of 467 blood donations were made by people from the Flinders community. Donations included whole blood, plasma and platelets.

While the Tertiary Challenge may be over for another year, Red Cross still needs more blood donors to help them save lives. For more information about donating blood and to book in a donation with Red Cross, click here.
