Our university is improving email security to protect staff and students. The change is scheduled to occur during the mid-semester break, starting on Monday 14 April, and ending on Thursday 17 April 2025.

Following this change, you will see a new display when opening links from emails, indicating that the links are being scanned for security purposes by Microsoft Defender. The scanning process is designed to ensure that the links are safe and reduce the potential for phishing emails.

However, please remember that this measure will not protect against everything, and it is crucial to remain vigilant when clicking links and opening attachments.
