Festival of Food – Sri Lanka

Come join us at this year’s Festival of Food featuring Sri Lanka – a Campus Activation Project hosted by the College of Nursing & Health Sciences.

Experience all Sri Lankan culture has to offer: food, Dhol drumming, music, dessert samples, plant your own Asian herb pot activity, learning opportunities, and more!

The event is set to begin on Thursday September 25, 2025 at 11:30am, with activities occurring in Sturt Courtyard and Oval. Dhol drummers will be putting on a performance for the first hour, so be sure to stop by between 11:30am-12:30pm to see them in action.

Please book your ticket here, and follow the prompts to choose a free Sri Lankan lunch (chicken, mutton, or vegan kothu) to redeem within a specific time increment. You may also book into a plant potting session, where you’ll transfer Asian herb seedlings into pots to take home. Be quick, spots are limited! Paid food options may also be available on the day for both staff and students, until sold out.

We look forward to seeing you on the day,
The Festival of Food Working Group
