Work in ceilings wraps up in college buildings, electrical maintenance testing is ongoing in the City Campus and Physical Sciences building, and a timely reminder about the rules to park at Tonsley!
October electrical equipment test & tag
Testing and tagging of electrical equipment will take place in select rooms/labs in the Physical Sciences building and on all levels of the City Campus through October. Technicians will pass through offices/spaces and test equipment such as laptop chargers, monitors and desk equipment, so if you have appliances or specialised equipment in a secure cupboard or room, please arrange a time to have them tested.
Please ensure devices are powered down and save your work before you leave each day.
Parking at Tonsley
Please remember that staff and student parking at Tonsley is in Flinders car park P2 only, with a valid parking permit – either a Tonsley permit, or a standard Bedford Park permit. Whilst a standard Bedford Park permit provides free parking at Tonsley, this is not the case for Tonsley permits at Bedford Park, including in the staff Business Blue parking bays. For all parking information, visit the parking on campus web page.
Ceiling renewal works complete
Work to repair/renew ceilings in the Biological Sciences and Humanities buildings has been completed.
Ceiling works are ongoing on level 1 of the Registry annexe until late October.
