Health and Wellbeing Course: Alcohol and other drugs

The holiday season is fast approaching. This is a time when alcohol and other drug use often increases and people may take more risks, so it is important for staff to feel confident recognising and responding to potential issues.

Join us for an engaging and practical session that explores the latest statistics on alcohol and other drug use in Australia, the common signs of impairment and harmful use, and how to have supportive and respectful conversations with colleagues, students, family, or friends who may be affected. The session will also discuss why addressing stigma matters in creating safer and healthier university communities, and outline available treatment and support options.

If you’re unable to join the live session it will be recorded, please ensure that you register so that the link can be sent to you.
